Blog series: Tip #7 For Fall Home Buyers

Buying a home this fall? These 7 tips could help you land your dream home

Whether you’re buying a house for the first time, or selling your first home and buying your second, navigating the competitive fall housing market takes dedication. These 7 tips can help you put your best foot forward.

Welcome back, for the finale, tip #7!

Get personal

In some circumstances, it can be thoughtful to include a carefully worded ‘about me’ letter with your offer to purchase a home. While some sellers will not read your letter, the very chance that a seller does read it, and it works, is worth it if the house could be yours!

With that in mind, your agent can preview and/or edit your letter if they have any suggestions – you also don’t want to give too much away that could hurt your case during negotiations.

Either way, this human element and ‘breaking the ice,’ could push your offer over the edge if your letter resonates with the sellers!

Happy house hunting!
