Spotted: Two Charming Vintage Bathrooms In Toronto

It’s an average Friday night, and I’m searching on MLS® using the lens of “all Toronto leases under $1800”.

In March 2019, there aren’t too many rentals that result from that search, so when I have a client looking, I really want to see everything that’s out there.

I was looking through every photo available, screening listings for my client (and friend), when I stumbled across two of the most captivating bathrooms I have ever seen!

Now, I understand these beauties might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I am personally huge on nostalgia and I wanted to share two charming Toronto bathrooms that deserve a second look. There’s even a website dedicated to saving vintage pink bathrooms.

According to the site, bathrooms and colourful tile of this nature date back to the 1950’s.

How would you modernize a vintage bathroom, you ask? Add some bathroom-friendly plants (that don’t need too much sunlight), a trendy shower curtain, some Etsy or UO home accessories, and you may just have the coziest, kitschy-est, colourful vintage bathroom on your hands. Enjoy!
